Iconic Snoopy designer table lamp with dimmer The Snoopy table lamp was designed by the brothers Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni. They first came up with the idea for this extraordinary design back in 1967. The lamp’s shape is reminiscent of the popular cartoon dog Snoopy, after whom it is named. Snoopy consists of a white base made of Carrara marble and a metal lampshade. Thanks to the materials used, the light appears very sturdy and high-quality. The light is directed towards the floor, making it ideal for illuminating a desk or a bedside table in the bedroom, for example. The integrated dimmer switch allows you to adjust the brightness of the light, ensuring ideal lighting conditions at all times. The switch also allows you to switch the light on and off. As Snoopy has been part of the FLOS range since 1967, the table lamp is considered an icon of the renowned Italian lighting manufacturer. FLOS is responsible for manufacturing the light and is also renowned for its use of high-quality, durable materials. For over 50 years, the company has been developing innovative lights whilst remaining true to its core values. FLOS has been awarded the Compasso d’Oro, Italy’s most prestigious industrial design prize, on several occasions. In 2013, the manufacturer received the Red Dot Design Award.
