Careers at House of Lamps
We're building the way America buys light.
House of Lamps is growing fast, and we're looking for people who want to build something real: a better way to shop for lighting online, backed by the scale and expertise of Luqom, Europe's leading online lighting specialist. If you like moving quickly, owning outcomes, and figuring things out before a playbook exists for them, you'll fit right in here.

The mission
Own the build, management, and experience of every platform we sell on, with Shopify as your top priority, alongside our marketplace presences on Amazon, Walmart, Lowe's, and others. You're the hands-on expert who makes sure each platform is set up right, looks right, and works right for the customer: site architecture, UX/UI, merchandising, listings, and the day-to-day operation of each channel. You also understand inventory end to end, including getting product from our warehouse into Amazon FBA, and you'll set up and manage any new marketplace we expand into.
What you'll do
-
Own the setup, structure, and ongoing management of our Shopify storefront: site architecture, navigation, collections, and templates
-
Own the UX/UI of the site, from page layouts to the end-to-end shopping and checkout experience
-
Manage product catalogs, merchandising, and content updates, keeping product information, pricing, and inventory availability accurate across the platform
-
Own conversion rate optimization and testing: landing pages, checkout flow, and structured A/B tests to improve the shopping experience
-
Manage the Shopify app and tech stack: integrations, tools, and platform performance (site speed, uptime, bug tracking)
-
Own the setup and ongoing management of our presence on Amazon, Walmart, Lowe's, and other marketplaces: listings, content, storefront pages, and platform compliance
-
Manage day-to-day marketplace operations, including FBA/FBM setup, account health, and platform tools
-
Coordinate inventory from our warehouse into Amazon FBA: shipment planning, inbound tracking, and troubleshooting before issues become stockouts
-
Set up and manage any new marketplace we expand into, from account setup through listings, fulfillment configuration, and ongoing operation
-
Build out promotional and campaign pages and assets across Shopify and marketplaces when leadership decides on a promotion, and propose ideas of your own
-
Report on site and marketplace performance metrics (revenue, conversion rate, ROAS, CAC) to keep leadership informed
-
Partner closely with Marketing, Creative, Customer Service, Operations, and Leadership to bring strategy to life on each platform
What you bring
-
3+ years of hands-on experience managing and building Shopify storefronts, ideally Shopify Plus
-
Deep expertise in Shopify's platform: theme/template management, merchandising, UX/UI best practices, and storefront optimization
-
Hands-on experience managing marketplace listings and operations on Amazon, with FBA/FBM familiarity
-
Solid understanding of inventory management, including coordinating inbound shipments from a warehouse into Amazon FBA
-
Experience setting up new marketplace accounts and operations from scratch
-
Strong track record running conversion rate optimization and structured A/B testing
-
Comfortable working with reporting tools (Shopify Analytics, Google Analytics, marketplace dashboards) to track and communicate performance
-
Detail-oriented and platform-fluent: you notice what's broken, clunky, or inconsistent before anyone else does
-
Experience with Klaviyo, Attentive, Recharge, Gorgias, Loop Returns, or similar ecommerce tools is a plus
-
Experience with Walmart Marketplace, Lowe's, or other marketplaces beyond Amazon is a plus
-
Experience with home, lighting, furniture, décor, or lifestyle brands is a plus
