Captain Flint Brass LED Floor Lamp

Captain Flint LED Designer Floor Lamp, Brass with Marble Base With Captain Flint, designer Michael Anastassiades sought to create a floor lamp that could serve a dual purpose: on the one hand, to provide diffused ambient light like an uplight, and on the other, to produce downward-directed, possibly slightly softened reading light—all without requiring two separate lamp arms and shades. The floor lamp’s cone-shaped shade, which is fitted with a plastic diffuser to create a more pleasant lighting atmosphere, can therefore be rotated around the mounting rod to direct the light in the desired direction. The built-in LEDs emit warm white light, the intensity of which can be dimmed from 10 to 100 percent using the switch dimmer. The floor lamp, which is generally very delicately designed, derives not only its obvious stability from the massive white marble base but also a touch of luxury and a certain presence that makes it hard to overlook.
