Captain Flint Black LED Floor Lamp

Captain Flint LED Designer Floor Lamp with Marble Base With Captain Flint, designer Michael Anastassiades set out to create a floor lamp that could serve a dual purpose: on the one hand, to provide diffused ambient light like an uplighter, and on the other, to produce downward-directed, possibly slightly subdued reading light—all without requiring two separate lamp arms and shades. The floor lamp’s cone-shaped shade, which is fitted with a plastic diffuser to create a more pleasant lighting atmosphere, can therefore be rotated around the mounting rod to direct the light in the desired direction. The built-in LEDs emit warm-white light, the intensity of which can be dimmed from 10 to 100 percent using the switch dimmer. The floor lamp, which is generally very delicately designed, derives not only its obvious stability from the massive base made of black Marquina marble, but also an air of luxury and a certain presence that makes it hard to overlook.
