Geen-A Black Floor Lamp

Striking Geen-A Floor Lamp with Carrying Handle Crafted from steel with a polyester powder coating, the Geen-A floor lamp fits perfectly into a minimalist interior design style. A tall, cylindrical base ensures stability, and a slender rod extends to the semicircular shade. A distinctive feature is the carrying handle above the light source, which makes it easy to move the lamp. The light shines exclusively downward through the metal shade, providing reading light in an armchair or by the bed. An integrated dimmer allows you to adjust the brightness to suit the current conditions, so dimmable bulbs (E12 – 3 x max. 5 W LED) must be used. Italian architect and designer Ferruccio Laviani created the Geen-A design with the joy of reading in mind. The design is a small tribute to his mother, who loved to spend her free time with a book in hand. The curiosity sparked by looking at a book cover and the way books transport readers to a fantastical world create a special atmosphere that the artist aims to enhance with the Geen-A floor lamp. The Geen-A is manufactured by the Italian company Kartell, which has been committed to sustainability since its founding in 1949. Extensive research enables the use of materials that are renewable and have no negative impact on the environment. The raw materials used are recyclable and can be given new life through material processing for industrial products.
